Lavender Pear Tonic

Fresh fruit juices are a good source of essential minerals like iron, copper, potassium, sodium, iodine, and magnesium, which are bound by the plant in a form that is most easily assimilated during digestion.

I love adding ginger root to almost every juice I make, including this one. In addition to it’s spicy zing, it boosts the immune system.

Lavender Pear Tonic
Ingredients
2 pears
1 grapefruit
1 inch ginger
handful fresh lavender

Yield: 1 serving

More About Juicing
Freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices are excellent sources of traditional nutrients and provide many healing benefits. Citrus fruits (grapefruit, oranges, lemons, etc.) provide healthy portions of vitamin C. Carrot and beet juice contain large quantities of vitamin A, in the form of beta carotene. A number of green juices are a good source of vitamin E.
